How do I book an appointment?

By either sending an email via the email addresses on this website or by the mobile numbers provided.

What will happen in the first session?

The first session is an introductory session which will help us to gain an understanding of what is troubling you and what your goal may be in therapy.

How often will I come to sessions?

This will be discussed with your counsellor and will depend on your needs and situation.

How long are the sessions?

Each session is one hour in duration.

Do I need to see my doctor for a referral?

No, however approval for counselling via a disability allowance will need to be discussed with your doctor.

How many sessions will I need?

This will be discussed during your first therapy appointment.

Is everything discussed in therapy sessions confidential?

Absolutely confidential unless we are concerned for your physical safety, in which case further intervention may be necessary for your protection.

What do I need to prepare for my first session?

There is no preparation necessary.

I am nervous about making an appointment – what to say, what to expect?

We acknowledge that this is a big step and to be nervous is only natural.

Do I really need therapy?

Everyone goes through challenging situations in life, and while you may have successfully navigated through other difficulties you faced, you may benefit from extra support at this
time.
